I can’t believe how fast the time has passed this Fall Term! Here we are in finals week! I do not know about you, but I barely have had any time to think about the Holidays. For the first time in years, no advent calendar in my house with the little chocolates to surpise! But no worries… Just found this virtual advent calendar, all online, that can also keep you trim for this Holiday season: Hubble Space Telescope Advent Calendar. A new space photo is displayed for each of the first 25 days in December.
So, here’s today’s amazing picture showing the explosion of the Monocerotis star becoming the brightest star in our galaxy in 2002!
And don’t foget to check the images from the previous December days!
I wish you all happy Holidays and the best for the new year. Our blog will be back with more news in January 2009!
